Almost inevitably, plumbing repairs, like car repairs, are a fact of life. Most of us in Nottingham take reliable plumbing for granted – clean cold water and plenty of hot water for washing and heating, all at the turn of a tap, or the flick of a switch.
Pipes and Fittings
When the plumbing becomes unreliable, or the pipes and fittings leak, we realise how much we depend on it, and the damage that can be done by water running down walls, dripping through ceilings and flooding floors.
Better still, try to avoid a crisis by checking under sinks, basins and toilets for minor leaks and get them repaired before it’s too late. Most importantly make sure you know where to find the valves (stop cocks) to switch off hot and cold water, and make sure they can be turned.
